The Family Worship Center (TFWC) was birthed out of a Bible Study that began in January 2015, entitled Worship and the WORD. After a year of Worship and the WORD, Pastor Charles and Prophetess Erika stepped out in faith to obey the voice of the Lord and had their very first Sunday morning worship service in January 2016. Through consistency and commitment to God, TFWC is growing to the glory of God!

TFWC is a congregation of individuals representing families, from various walks of life, that join together weekly to fellowship, worship, and grow in the grace of God. Our goal here at TFWC is to provide an atmosphere of love and freedom, so that those that encounter it, will be forever changed.

​

TFWC believes strongly in the foundation of prayer, praise, worship, and the Word of God. We strongly believe that these four components are essential in the believer’s walk of faith. It is our goal to offer, those that part of this local body, an opportunity to grow in their relationship with the Lord.

PASTOR CHARLES

As a trailblazer, compassionate leader, powerful worshipper, and dynamic teacher, Pastor Charles serves as the senior and founding pastor of a growing and emerging, non-denominational ministry, The Family Worship Center (TFWC). The ministry is based in Saraland, Alabama.

​

Licensed minister since 2002, Pastor Charles served faithfully in ministry in various capacities under the leadership of Apostle Jeffery Thrash and Prophetess Sandra Thrash, of Goodwill Church Ministries International.  Having pioneered Worship Unplugged, Pastor Charles helped provide a platform for worshippers to gather from all denominations, cultures, and backgrounds with one focus…..undistracted and unhindered fellowship with the Father.

Pastor Charles has a bachelor's degree in Sociology that has allowed him to work closely with families throughout his professional career.

Pastor Charles enjoys traveling, shopping, and fine dining. He passionately believes in having a good time and living a balanced Christian life.

Pastor Charles Is a devoted husband and father. He and Lady Erika have four beautiful daughters together.

PROPHETESS ERIKA

Prophetess Erika is a creative visionary, gifted playwright, preacher, teacher, and a prophetic voice to this generation. She serves alongside her husband, Pastor Charles, at their growing and emerging, non-denominational ministry, The Family Worship Center, based in Saraland, Alabama.

As a licensed prophet, Prophetess Erika also assists her husband in pastoring The Family Worship Center, by helping to oversee the ministry.  She is also the leader of “Women of Virtue”, the women’s ministry of The Family Worship Center. Her heart is to see women whole, healed, and walking in God’s created purpose for their lives.

Prophetess Erika holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work and has over 16 years of experience. She also has a passion for fine arts. Her passion has allowed her to pioneer mime and drama ministries, along with writing and producing numerous original, inspirational stage plays and skits. 

Prophetess Erika loves fashion, jewelry, make-up, cooking, reading, and writing. She loves to laugh and loves even more to encourage others to laugh! 

Prophetess Erika is a devoted wife and mother. Together she and Pastor Charles have four beautiful daughters along with Prophetess Erika’s younger sister as an extra blessing!
